This is an image of the test lighting in my environment as I wanted to get a better idea of what I want it to look like later on.
This is the prototype of a puzzle in Area 2 where there are a lot more mirrors so this will become much more complicated once it gets completed. I did this as the previous puzzle before would teach the player on how to use this mechanic so this puzzle will then be harder for the player.
Here is the textured Area 1 building that I created in Substance Painter. It’s a simple design and I didn’t spend too long on it as my main focus for this project is programming mechanics but if I manage to complete them all and have time left over I might go over some of these models I create.
For this brick wall texture, I used a material on Substance’s Community Assets: https://substance3d.adobe.com/community-assets/assets/0d422ae0d84d296c32af7f4f6068f2688269f864
I also made a material for the barriers to giving them a transparent look so the player can see what is behind them.
